About

1 to 1.png

Somewhere along the way, forty-five years slipped by. I stopped counting the countries and the venues a long time ago — what stays with me are the moments. The ones where the music lands just right and something shifts in the room.

That's what keeps me doing this.

I've played the places you'd expect — Irish pubs, wedding receptions, hotel lounges — and a few you might not. Cruise ships. Restaurants in Shanghai. A private party or two where I didn't speak the language, but the music seemed to translate well enough.

Every room teaches you something, if you're paying attention. I try to pay attention.

Over the years that's meant learning when to hold back and when to lean in. When to step forward and when to disappear into the background. When someone just needs the music to stay out of the way while they have a conversation, or when a couple on the edge of the dance floor just needs the right song to get them up.

My repertoire wanders — classic rock, folk ballads, music that makes you dance and sing along. I'm not precious about genres. I care more about whether the room feels right.

If you're looking for someone who shows up, reads the room, and does their best to make your event feel like yours — I'd love to have a chat.
